I wear a mask around my old friends. Not all of them, but I’m still in the closet in my old group of friends. I told a few individual people but I haven’t come out to my old group of friends.

Prison
It’s sort of what I feel like being stuck at home doing nothing. I’ve got no job, no traveling plans, everybody else is busy, etc.
That’s not it though, I feel as if my mind or body is a prison in itself. I have no motivation to do anything other than go through the motions. No motivation to make sure I ace my music theory course online… or to write any music… or...

Wow I'm such an envious person
There were a total of 15 people at the Poconos this weekend. Aunt and Uncle (ofc), then there’s 10 cousins (including myself) and 3 in-laws. This is the first time all of us have been at the same gathering at once (crazy!).
Within the span of 3 months: My sister graduated med school and moved into her condo. My cousin got married and is now a home owner. Another cousin graduated law school...
Inspiration
I think part of the reason why I had so much trouble writing a fast, loud, ecstatic piece was because I felt like I had nothing to feel ecstatic about. But I don’t have to be euphoric about things which affect me directly.
